Sad Day Shopping

Yesterday was a sad day. Casey out-shopped me. Our first stop was the tire store (exciting) and while we waited for our sweet new tires we walked around Target and Linen's 'N Things. This proved to be a wasted expense of precious energy.

Next stop - Babies R Us! After finding out I would probably only make it 32 weeks instead of 36, including some bed rest, we decided we had better register for baby goodies. We were there for about 3.5 hours and only the last hour was bad...for me. Casey, who is prone to fit throwing while shopping was a total champ! He mapped out the store and a strategy so we didn't miss anything. I, on the other hand, pooped out in the Pack 'n Play aisle. You know you should just go home when you start to not care what your children will be sleeping in! I found myself giving dirty looks to the pregnant ladies making use of the complimentary wheel chairs. I seriously wanted to take a poll of the store to find out who else was carrying multiples. Next time we go to Babies R Us I will wear pajamas and use the wheel chair!!

Next stop...Target...again. I was complaining out loud about my feet by this point. Casey offered to push me on a buggy but I declined trying to stay tough. We re-fueled with an Icee and breadsticks. Hey, I'm pregnant and Target seemed like a perfectly good eatery:) Baby isle at Lynnwood Target is crap. They have nothing and what they do have is all misplaced. I really lost it here. I kept pleading that we just look online to finish registering. Casey also faltered at this point; made clear by our complete inability to make a simple decision. I held up some stuff so he could at least put the scanner to good use then I headed for the car as fast as I could waddle.

I never thought I would see the day that Casey would last longer than me while shopping. It was indeed a sad day.

18 weeks and getting bigger every day!

Handsome Man

Brewster went to the Egger salon today. Casey cut his hair, clipped his nails and gave him a bath! He doesn't look like a fuzzy Ewok now and is so handsome. Brewster knows that he looks good and really enjoys all of the compliments. We are dorky pet owners so of course we are willing to feed his delicate ego.

17 Weeks!

17 weeks and counting!

Afternoon at the Children's Museum

While our niece Kayli was in town we thought we would check out the Children's Museum. We all had a great time. I think that I was probably the most pooped at the end of the day though - what's new?

Have you ever wanted to see a fat girl hula hoop? Check it out. The bump did not help me hula. I was still totally uncoordinated!
P.S. the editing options for this blog thing suck!!

Casey's Birthday!

It has been awhile since updating the blog and we have had quite a bit of activity. Mama, Daddy-o, and Kayli came to visit and made it just in time for Casey's 31st birthday! He is sporting a new hat from lil' sis Haley. I can't believe he is still willing to wear a Mariner's t-shirt though! He also received an apron with goodies to help him with "Daddy Doodies". Handy gift pack included tongs, wipes, water-proof apron, and butt paste! Perfect gift for daddy to be!!!

Grandma Egger, Aunt Haley, cousin Kayli, and Grandpa Egger.

There was even a pinata for Casey's party pleasure. Grace and Kayli both got several attempts to crack open the giant flip flop but it was Casey's 31 years of strenght that finally did it!

Casey, Eric, Kayli and Grace after pinata smashing. You can see that the girls have bags of loot. It is fun to give your nieces lots of candy with no fear of consequences! I'm pretty sure we'll get our payback soon enough!

Big Brother & Big Sister

Big brother Brewster & Big sister Monchi

Ok - so unofficially we already have 2 babies. Brewster Wayne Egger, and Monchichi "The Gooch" Egger. I am a little concerned about them and how they will react to real babies. Monchi is the sensitive one who likes to attend to those who are upset. Brewster is the herder who only likes his "pack" (i.e. Casey and I).

I'm thinking Brew will have the hardest time with the change as he is a 100% mama's boy. I woke up with him under the covers nestled oh so comfortably between Casey and I this morning. Is it wrong to make your real babies sleep at the foot of the bed? If so, I haven't got to that chapter in my "What to Expect..." book. I do think Brewster will do great at detecting dirty diapers though!!

I think Monchi will do ok, but I am concerned that she will want to jump in a crib with a crying baby and try to soothe him/her by rubbing her face all over theirs. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Here we go...

With a little encouragement from my good friend Kim I have decided to start a blog to chronicle the biggest thing to ever happen to Casey and I - the highly anticipated arrival of our first 3 children. You heard right. We are expecting triplets and would like to share our experience with friends and family.

With such a high risk pregnancy we have been cautiously optimistic. Now 15 weeks along we feel a lot more confident sharing all things having to do with The 3B's (Casey's term for the babies). So far so good. I haven't had any morning sickness, however I am sick of waking up early for work:) I am pretty dang tired and am fully embracing eating for 4!!

Me and my belly @ 15 weeks

Hopefully I can update this thing regularly...
