Shower Power

Baby Showers! I recently had 2 baby showers. One at work and one with the girls! I can tell you that we already have 3 very spoiled little boys!! I am just in shock of everyone's generosity. Casey and I are so thankful to everyone for well wishes, cards, and mountains of gifts! We are going to have the best dressed kids on Camano Island!! Thank you everyone!!!

Here are a couple of pictures from the shower given to me at work. Kim and Kristi were the party planners extraordinaire. Thank you! We had some fantastic desserts and a room full of oohing and awing women.

Casey and I the day of the shower. This picture was taken before he left. I've never seen a guy move so fast to avoid a houseful of ladies! This is a 22 week belly and boy is it big! So big I apparently couldn't see the ugly flip flops I was wearing:)

Here is Leah - the game show hostess with the mostess! She and Allie were the party planners who were nice enough to bring the traveling baby shower show to me! I'm so lucky to have such wonderful friends! Thanks girls!!

Allie and little sister Kate.

Grandma Grose and Great Grandma Engeness.

It was a party for all ages!!

Belly Watch 21 Weeks

Ok so week 21 has come and gone but I thought you would still like to see the miracle grow belly. I'm starting to believe everyone who says that I grow every day! It is getting dang hard to get out of bed!

If I was smart I would figure out a way to crop out my messy bed in the background:)

Last weekend Casey and I began the daunting task of cleaning out the bonus room (currently used as guest room, craft room, and exercise room) to make room for a nursery. Needless to say, most of the stuff purged was mine. I am a bit of a nostalgic pack-rat.

The picture below is to document my former athleticism and prove that at one point my butt did fit into a pair of tiny track shorts!! Bye-bye old track t-shirts!

Techno Belly

I was feeling a little large, hot, disgusting and irritable today but this picture always makes me laugh. It was taken at the Children's Museum. You can see the pychadelic bump and Casey taking the picture. I'm sad we have to wait for children to go back!

Roller Dude

We recently attended our niece's (Grace and Ella) roller skating birthday party. While the kids were eating cake Casey took the opportunity to show off his impressive roller poses. I continue to be impressed by all of my husband's hidden talents!!

Let's Hear It For The Boys!!

So I have been waiting for 3 weeks for someone less lazy than me to scan our ultrasound pictures so I can share them with everyone. This person ironically turned out to be Casey:) Thank you Casey!!

So the ultrasound(s) revealed that we are expected 3 little monster boys! That is right - 3 BOYS! We are so excited. My house will need a lot of monster proofing for wrestling matches though. I am already dreading the day that my little boys become embarassed of hugs and kisses from mom. Casey will get to maintain his "coolness" much longer than I will. Good thing Brewster doesn't mind hugs and kisses!

Names....this is so difficult. For now, the boys remain as Baby A, Baby B, and Baby C. I am scared that our children will remain nameless for some time after they arrive. We did have our little puppy for about 3 days before we came up with Brewster. Poor kids. Our 6 year old neice, Kayli, has been very helpful with name suggestions though. Charlie and Michael. But my favorite was her suggestions for the identical twins (Baby A and Baby B). She thought they should be named Dennis and Pennis. Oh to be 6 and learning to ryhme!

Things are still going really well. My frequent doctor appointments show good baby growth, strong heart beats, low blood pressure (for me), and that I am blossoming (gaining weight) per the nurse.

Here are some pictures of me and Brew at 20 weeks. That nurse wasn't kidding - I really have blossomed!!
